It’s 7 and I’m at work. Why? So that I can go to stupid housing appointments this afternoon and not miss work. That’s hardcore, I deserve a raise… or two. I’m sooo sleepy, this is garbage sister.Anyhow, I reread yesterday’s posts and realized that I was being uber negative. I assume that it’s a result of having to do all types of boring work yesterday. Rebuilding 150 html pages and removing all of the bad code. Ugh. Have I taken the opportunity to complain about that yet? Oh yeah, constantly.
At least today I get to take some time away and go choose a furnace? I don’t know the first damn thing about furnaces and while I could go do some research that sounds like a lot of work. Also I’ve got some contract work to do at home so I don’t have the time ever if I cared.
A buddy of mine hired me to do some 3d work for him. I cracked lightwave open for the first time in about 3 months last night. It turns out that 3d is real complicated like and I’m really rusty, but I need to money so away we go! It’s just building a house, so I figure that by the time I remember how to model the damn thing I should be able to remember how to texture it. If not, I’ll run away and hide where no one can find me. Most likely under my bed…. if I fit.
I just launched a new site for my work which you can view if you know the name of my company. I don’t think I should link right to it from here in case I say something really outrageous some day and it comes back around to my boss. (I hate midgets and cats should be grown in glass boxes to keep them smaller and squarer! Lenin was a visionary! All hail our new communist masters!)
That’s all for now. It’s real work time, and this party is BYOB…. bring your own BOOYAH!

Like 2 days ago wasn’t I saying that all people who drive trucks suck? Wasn’t I?Well today some assclown in his big ol’ truck was hauling ass down highway 16 and he rear ended another car and killed a little girl. Great work buddy, you really did ‘er up there. I bet it was SO worth it to drive like a hero and save an extra 2 minutes on your trip today. Goood job.
I’m going to say right now that if you do something that stupid you should never be allowed to drive again. Ever. Maybe then people would start to give a shyte. I mean really, some little girl is dead because of the ignorance and irresponsibility of one moron. Driving isn’t a right, it’s a privilege. Seriously, I don’t understand the way that people seem to think that driving is a God given right. While I’m at it, I’d also like to jack up ticket prices (really) and take away someone’s license for a year at the drop of a hat.
News flash people, you don’t have to speed. You’ll get there anyways. At what cost do you place saving 10 minutes on your way somewhere. Would you kill a little girl just to save time? It’s garbage.

I just remembered this story. On the first day of my current job I was doing an orientation day with my new boss and two new co-workers. We were talking about what kinds of things we did in our spare time. I was like “Oh, I love to play music. I play guitar blah blah blah”. Another girl there was like “I like to listen to live music blah blah blah”. It was great because my boss is a huge music fan so we were all getting along great. Then it was the third girls turn. She said “I’d love to travel”. First of all, that’s not something done in you spare time, unless you often sit around idle and really TRY to think about how you’d love to travel. Also, travelling is not a ’spare time’ type of hobbie now is it? You can’t say “well I’ve got a few hours before dinner, I wonder what’s going on in Mozambique?”. That’s all besides the point though.
My boss, a travel nut who has been all over the world, said something like “awesome, what country would you most like to visit?”
She said “Rome”.
Have I mentioned that she doesn’t still work here? Talk about making a first impression. I didn’t laugh, but I really wanted to.

Grr argh.Yet another day spent with “copy & paste”. I think that I’m going to go home and kill stuff until I feel better. Halo will save me from this boredom.
Also of note, a psd file for a site that I’m building somehow corrupted and now just shows me a colorful mess not unlike a tv test signal. Uh oh. Good thing I don’t have it backed up…. heh. At least its our new site and not a clients. I don’t think many clients would be simpathetic to “sorry dude, we lost your site”. heh
